Student Success and Engagement
Under the scope of Undergraduate Programs and Support Services, the School supports a range of student programming, organizations, and events aimed at connecting with and engaging the biological sciences student population. With a goal of inclusion, students are supported through these unique interactions, promoting academic success, leadership development and relevant career exploration.
In addition to supporting the Biological Sciences Student Association (BSSA), Bioscholars, and Saltman Quarterly (SQ) student organizations, the School hosts a Welcome Week event to kick off the academic year, a life science conference which allows students to explore future career paths, and Research Showcase, an opportunity for students to share their scientific discoveries with the public.
