Mauricio Montal Named Biophysical Society Fellow

Dr. Mauricio Montal, a professor in the neurobiology section, has been named a Fellow of the Biophysical Society this month for his "significant contributions to the field of ion channel function." Montal was among four fellows named by the society this year, the fifth year such an honor has been bestowed. The fellows are all "distinguished members of the society who have demonstrated excellence in science and contributed to the expansion of the field of biophysics."
